Welcoming a new life into the world is a magical experience, and capturing those first precious moments is something I’m deeply passionate about. I absolutely adore babies and pride myself on creating a calm, safe, and nurturing environment for you and your little one. With me, there is absolutely no pressure for your baby to “perform” or behave a certain way. I work at their pace, gently capturing the perfect moments as they naturally unfold, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience. With a naturally patient and caring approach, I ensure every session is gentle and stress free. Your trust means everything to me, and I’m here to make the whole experience joyful, memorable, and filled with love. This is more than just a job to me.

PLANNING YOUR NEWBORN SESSION

1. When to Book

I recommend booking your newborn session just after your 20 week scan, to guarantee availability. We’ll pencil in a session date for around 7-10 days after your due date, pencil being the key word - I’ll stay flexible depending on when your little one arrives.

If your baby has already arrived and you’re hoping to book last-minute, feel free to get in touch - I may still have space!

2. When the Session Happens

The best time to photograph your newborn is between 7-10 days old, while your baby is still very sleepy and naturally curled. This window allows me to gently pose your baby and capture those beautiful, snuggly, peaceful moments.

If your baby is a little older, don’t worry - I welcome older newborns too and will always tailor the session to suit your baby’s needs and stage.

3. Session Style

I keep every session relaxed and baby-led. Your baby's comfort will always come first, allowing plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and settling whenever needed.

Whether you dream of sleepy, posed portraits or natural family cuddles, I'll capture the moments that matter most to you.

All wraps, props, blankets, and outfits are provided and have been carefully selected with your baby's comfort in mind. I keep everything soft and neutral, allowing your baby to be the main focus of every image.

I work exclusively with natural light to create soft, timeless photographs. Every session takes place in my comfortable, fully equipped home studio, designed to provide a calm and welcoming environment for you and your family.

4. Your Baby’s Safety

Your baby’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have plenty of experience handling newborns and use only safe, supported posing techniques throughout the session. I take every precaution to ensure that your baby is secure and never placed in uncomfortable positions.

I use soft, clean fabrics and maintain a clean sanitised studio environment.

5. How to Book

Please fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page, and I will get back to you as soon as possible with my information pack and availability. Once you have chosen the package you'd like to book, we can pencil your session into my diary. Spaces are limited each month to ensure I can give every client a personalised experience, so I recommend reaching out as early as possible to reserve your session.
